LOCATION
The WILLOWS CATTERY is a well-established Cattery situated just off the A23 near Hickstead, Sayers Common and Burgess Hill, 10 miles North of Brighton and the South Coast.  Easily accessible to Gatwick and the M25 link to Heathrow and Central London.
 


VISITORS
An inspection visit will assure you that every care and attention will be given. As the Proprietor likes to introduce herself to all new owners it is preferable an appointment is made for your visit.
 

ACCOMMODATION
The aim is to provide first class accommodation.  
Cats are housed in separate units, individually heated and each with its own run.  There is space between each run so the cats can see their neighbours but there can be no direct contact. Only cats from the same family are allowed to share.
Hygiene and safety are considered of the utmost importance.
 

FEEDING
A wide variety of good foods are available.  Meals are regular, adult cats being
fed twice daily, kittens and older cats according to their special requirements.    
Individual and special diets can be catered for.
 

BEDDING
You are welcome to bring along beds/ blankets/ towels/ old sweaters/ toys
Scratch posts or anything you feel will help your cat feel more "at home"
 

HEALTH   & MEDICATION
Owners will appreciate that no cats suffering, or suspected to be suffering, from infections or disease can be accepted.   This is essential in order to safeguard the health of all cats boarded.   All cats will be examined on arrival and the Cattery reserves the right to refuse admission of any cat showing signs of ill health
Treatments prescribed by Veterinary Surgeons can be continued during the Cats stay, this should be discussed  prior to arrival.
Please clearly label all medications and give administration instructions in writing.
 

IMMUNISATION
All cats must be immunised against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu.
It is also advisable to protect your cat from Feline Leukaemia, although this is not, at present insisted upon, it is advisable to discuss this with your vet
.  

CATS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED WITH A CURRENT
VETERINARY CERTIFICATE

   

TRAVELLING
Only the few seasoned travellers take kindly to baskets and carriers. Experience has shown that cardboard carriers are not strong enough.  The Cattery cannot accept cats loose or in cardboard containers.
If you do not have a suitable carrier, one can be borrowed from the Cattery (FOC)
 

BOOKINGS
Every effort is made to answer calls personally however should you reach the dreaded "answer- phone" please have all the relevant
details available,  we need to know ;

Departure Date & Time · Arrival Date & Time
· Current feed requirements · Cats Name(s) ·

If we are unable to accept a booking, we will advise you on the telephone.  
A written Acknowledgement will be sent.
 

CANCELLATIONS
Provided any cancellation is received by telephone not less than 10 days prior to commencement of booking, any deposits paid will be refunded in full.
 

NON-COLLECTION
In the event of cats not being collected within 21 days of the notified date of departure and in the absence of communication from the owners or their representatives the Cattery reserves the right to dispose of the animal as deemed fit.
 

WHILST EVERY CARE WILL BE GIVEN TO THE CATS THEY ARE BOARDED ENTIRELY AT THE OWNERS RISK
